The World Anvil Academy 🇮🇹 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

Hi!

After some months spent working behind the curtains, we’re ready to introduce The World Anvil Academy, our e-learning division.

The idea is to create a space to share everything we have learned since our debut in 2017 with other aspiring game creators.

We completed many projects, but we also made some mistakes. The good news is: you don’t have to – if you want to develop tabletop games, we can show you how to set up your work efficiently.

The courses

The World Anvil Academy opens with two courses, with more on the way:

  • FREE: Game Crowdfunding: Learn the Basics in Less than One Hour. Six lessons you can complete in one hour to understand if crowdfunding on Kickstarter is the right choice for your project. Learn more.
  • PREMIUM: Game Crowdfunding from Start to Funded. Five modules, 39 lessons already online, and more to be added in the coming months guide you step by step in creating a successful Kickstarter project. Learn more

All courses are updated to 2022 and include videos. Premium courses also include notes and additional tools to make your job easier!

Coaching programs

You might be thinking: “Sounds great, but I’d like to talk with a human!” No worries, The World Anvil Academy offers personalized coaching programs that we plan to expand in the future with more teachers and topics. We start with:

PREMIUM: 1:1 Crowdfunding Coach – 12 guided sessions to plan your crowdfunding campaign, define and check progress milestones at regular intervals. Learn more

PREMIUM: 1:1 Leading a Creative Team – 6 sessions to learn how to keep a working group of writers, artists, and visionaries together during all the phases of game development. Remember: most game projects underestimate this aspect and fail at execution! Learn more

All the coaching programs start with a free exploratory call to see if we are a good fit for each other and if your project is suitable for the program.

The future

We’re already discussing the possibility of offering courses and coaching programs covering topics such as worldbuilding, game design, art direction, and more. So let us know what you’d be interested in!
